About

History

I started work as a Stonemason in June 1983, completing a 4 year apprenticeship of which most of my skills were learned on the restoration of Brighton Pavillion. This involved working the new stonework by hand in Bath, some pieces weighed up to 2 1/2 tonnes each.

After my apprenticeship I went to Weymouth College to gain a Diploma in Architectural Stone Conservation.

Since then I have worked for many companies & clients in & around Bath & have worked on many historic buildings, employing techniques in Masonry, Carving & Conservation.
